“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
Psalm 139: 13-16 ESV
“ We pray that you will lead a life that is worthy of the Lord. We pray that you will please him in every way. So we want you to bear fruit in every good thing you do. We want you to grow to know God better. We want you to be very strong, in keeping with his glorious power. We want you to be patient. Never give up. Be joyful as you give thanks to the Father. He has made you fit to share with all his people. You will all receive a share in the kingdom of light” AMEN.
Colossians 1: 10-12
“Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.”
Proverbs 17:6 ESV
:
Praying for him. Nothing about him is a surprise to our Lord.
Amen.
Oh, how I love this post, Tonja! He has been watching over our "not-yet-born" little one and so many prayers have already been answered on his behalf. I know He has a wonderful life planned for him, and I pray he will walk with the Lord all the days of that life.
The picture of your little Levi is so beautiful, and I am sincerely happy for you and your sweet family. God is so good, isn't He!
I love the verses in this post. When I think of how carefully God knit this baby together, it thrills my soul. And, that is what He is doing for your little one, too. So much happens during these months of growth, and to know that He is keeping watch already is a wonderful thing!Once in a revival, an evangelist told us that there would be times when we, as parents and grandparents, would not know exactly what to pray for our children. But, these verses would cover them with God's grace. And, the words are so timely and sweet, that I have prayed it many times over the years, in addition to more personal prayers.Continuing to keep your miracle in my prayers.Tonja
What a very blessed child he is! I too love those verses and helped Destiny to memorize some of the ones in Psalm 139. . Last time I checked, she still knew them. So very important for her to know the truth of those verses. And Levi too.
That is the sweetest picture ever!!!
