Today I was blessed with the most handsome little visitor. Sweet John Thomas came to play. Oh, he is such a delight! Just beginning to walk, and developing a personality all his own. Such determination! We ate breakfast together, then he took a little nap. Then we went for a ride. I don’t have a stroller, but I do have a wagon. So, off we went…down the driveway, up the street to the circle and back again. Then a stop to play with the pumpkins in the wheelbarrow, and finally a few minutes to rest in the swing. He had a little something to drink, and then we were able to go out and play with Finn and Alex a while. Such fun! His parents, Tara and Will are doing a wonderful job with him! Such blessings…God is good to us!
The next day, my friend, Lucy Jane, came to play. She was all dressed in fall colors, and was ready to have some fun. It has been a while since she had visited, so she had to get reacquainted with Finn. Oh! But Finn was happy to see her! We decided we would build a turkey…..out of a pumpkin and some wood cutouts. It was so beautiful outside, that Finn and Alex came out to help. Good thing they did. Cause Lucy Jane could not get the feathers in…and I could not get the feathers in, and it was hard for Alex to get the feathers in…but he did! And, soon…we had ourselves a very cute Tom Turkey!
Then later on that afternoon, Sweet John Thomas came back to stay for a while. He was rested and ready to play. So play, we did!
Always, ALWAYS, take time to play!
What a wonderful way to spend a Fall DAY! You're just the sweetest Auntie Tonja in the whole world.
And that darling boy—you must just want to hug him all the time. It's great that you're getting in all this practice for Next Year—I'm so very happy for you.
Sis, I am so blessed to have you to help out when I need you. AND, I can hardly wait until you also have a little one. We just thought our kids were fun.
They are both adorable and precious. So glad you got to spend time with them. I just love that turkey pumkin get up!
Little ones are so much fun, aren't they?!? Sounds like a super play day!
Oh Tonja!!! Those children are just so precious! Such good pictures! The one of Finn and Lucy Jane should be entered into a contest. It is spectacular.
What a cutie! Great practice for you!
What an absolutely perfect day you had — your little visitors are so precious, and I know they love coming to "Aunt Tonja's" house as much as you love having them. I'm so glad Alex felt like "playing," too.
Lucy Jane and John Thomas are both so adorable! I'm quite sure they love visiting you!
Happy weekend hugs,
Kat
